Testimonies

Dear Friends,

Greetings in the Lord. We hope and pray that you had a wonderful Christmas and that the New Year ahead will be full of blessings and joy. It has been a busy time at Travel the Road as we prepare for significant Gospel Expeditions in 2025 that will take us into Central America, The Middle East, Central Africa, and South-East Asia. These missions will involve working in volatile war zones and reaching remote tribal groups who have never heard the gospel. We ask that you pray for open doors and open hearts as we boldly venture into these challenging regions. Your support, encouragement, and love of missions are such a blessing, and we are forever grateful for your partnership. The world needs the light of Christ now more than ever as nations face increasing turmoil and darkness. The enemy would love nothing more than for the church to cease its activity of the Great Commission, but that isn’t going to happen. We will stand strong and see a new generation return to the Lord and carry the light of Christ to every tribe, tongue, and nation. Now is the time for boldness as a multitude stands ready to hear the truth. We ask you to consider giving a special year-end gift or starting a new monthly donation for 2025 to help us continue this work of reaching the unreached. The best is yet to come!

This month, we would like to share some impactful testimonies we’ve received in the last year. These testimonies highlight the fruit of Travel the Road and how the Lord uses the series to encourage the church to be active in the Great Commission.

I’ve been inspired by you guys since 2005. I have been to Ethiopia 14 times and spent a total of four years and 11 months in that country to share the love of God. After losing three loved ones in an automobile accident in 2006, several family members started an NGO that works in Ethiopia. Your videos were the main inspiration to start our NGO. Thank you for your long term commitment in mission work. — Mark

The latest episode of Uganda touched my heart! The meeting with the Batwa people was so sad. When the elder brought out his bow and arrow and was remembering his life in the forest I cried…Travel the Road continues to open our eyes to the beauty and challenges of our world. People are suffering and it makes me think about my life and all I need to be grateful for. — Ronda H

I’m Noah. I’m 18. My family and I have been watching Travel the Road for a year or two now. It’s so rare to find a Christian perspective into the deepest, poorest places on earth like your channel (YouTube) does. I don’t want to be in this comfortable bubble anymore while many are without salvation, and your videos remind me of that. I hope to serve God in another country someday like Tim and Will. — Noah

I watched your episode in the Solomon Islands and it struck me deeply. My grandfather served there in WWII but never spoke about it. Seeing those islands where battles were fought… it moved me to tears. Your work bridges the past and present in such a powerful way. I’d love to go there and help in any way. — James R

I must say, ‘Uganda’ has become my new favorite episode from Travel the Road, closely rivaled only by ‘People of the Trees.’ The storytelling and the encounters with the Batwa people were nothing short of mesmerizing. Great job guys! Love that you are creating great media for Jesus. Please continue not many people are doing that. — Abby

Please keep going for Christ, on the road as long as He leads you! My children and I watched your videos for years and we were deeply encouraged and inspired by the sacrifices you made for the Lord. We have now served as missionaries for more than 10 years and by God’s grace will continue. — Leela

Tim and Will you’ve been an inspiration to me and my family for years. We gather together to watch Travel the Road and are always amazed by the stories you bring back from your travels. The way you both love being in these countries, even in the most remote and difficult circumstances is truly remarkable. Your dedication to sharing the gospel is evident in every episode. We are praying for you every day. God bless you both! — Laura and Family

The latest episode about the Greatest Generation is a fantastic documentary. As a history teacher, I’ve taught about the Solomon Islands campaign, but seeing those locations today and how it impacted Will’s father really gives another perspective. I’ve started showing clips to my students to help them understand both the sacrifice of WWII veterans and the ongoing work of missionaries around the world. — Daniel

Thanks Tim and Will. Your series is my favourite! It means so much to me because I could not do what you do but my heart is in what you do. I am a granny looking after a great granny but feel only 35. I have to deal with all the heavy lifting and work needed here 24/7. My Mom and Dad were missionaries. My first home was Matibi mission in Zimbabwe. I pray for you that you may be abundantly blessed. — Lynn

I’ve been watching Travel the Road for years and was so moved by the latest Uganda episode. The way you showed the Batwa people’s struggles really opened my eyes. It’s incredible to see how you reach these remote communities with God’s love. Your work inspires me to look beyond my comfortable life and think about how I can make a difference. — Sarah M

Found your show on YouTube and I’m hooked! Tim and Will, your missionary journeys are incredible and it’s pushing me to step up and make a difference. You’ve shown me that even small actions can have a huge impact. Can’t wait to see where you go next. — Sam

Been watching you guys on tv since I was a kid. I was motivated to do mission work in China for a few months because of you. I wanted to be a full time missionary but things have changed since. Maybe one day I will be called back out from where I’m at now. Thanks guys, great episode! — Matthew

I’ve been a fan of Travel the Road for as long as I can remember, and it’s hard to put into words just how much your work means to me. Each episode is a testament to the power of Jesus. Your willingness to go to the ends of the earth, to places that most people would never want to go is inspiring. It’s clear that you’re not just sharing the gospel with words but with every part of your being. Watching you interact with remote peoples and sharing Jesus is just so amazing. Your journey reminds me of old time missions from 100 years ago. I’m truly grateful for the work you do and for the impact it has had on my life. — Emily T

Just watched the Uganda episode and it was awesome! Seeing the Batwa and the other people’s stories really touched me. It’s made me think about how I can help and be more grateful for what I have. You guys are doing wonderful things for the Kingdom! — Nate

Your newsletter about ‘Unseen’ really resonated with me. I’ve often felt like what I do for God goes unnoticed, and sometimes that can feel discouraging. But reading your words reminded me that God sees and values everything, even the things no one else sees. It’s given me a new joy and purpose in serving others.” — L

I found this show when I was younger and loved it. I’m 35 now and still love it! Christ is Lord. — Calvin

Watching “Travel the Road” (that I “stumbled on one night in the middle of the night…gratefully !!) and was just SO impressed with both gentlemen…so I watch each weekend and finally have gotten around to donating, as I promised ! Blessings to you both. You are amazing!! — Ann

My husband and I just started watching your show, and we’re hooked! We’re on season two and every episode leaves us in awe of your dedication to sowing the seeds of the gospel. Thank you for being such an amazing example of obedience to God’s call. We’re praying for you! — Linda

What a blessing it is to hear these wonderful testimonies! These testimonies, and the many others we receive, show the fruit of Travel the Road. It blesses us beyond words and we praise God for all He does through the series. Now, as we enter 2025, we ask for your prayers and financial support so we can continue the mission to Preach the Gospel to the ends of the Earth and encourage the church to be active in the Great Commission. Next, we will be venturing into some of the most challenging and dangerous regions on earth, but we know that God goes before us. Your partnership through prayer and giving enables us to press forward with boldness, taking the Good News to places where Christ has never been named. So, if Travel the Road has been a blessing to you, please consider giving a special year-end gift or starting a new monthly support for 2025. You are the one who can make a difference! We cherish you like family and know the best is yet to come. May the peace of the Lord be with you.

In Him,

Tim and Will
